Hotel Ivory Playa Sports & Spa

recently stayed at this hotel, and although a small issue occurred during my stay, I was truly impressed by the exceptional service. Francisco handled the situation with complete professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. He not only processed the refund quickly but also went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued guest. His approach turned what could have been a negative experience into a very positive one. I am truly grateful and will gladly return to this hotel in the future, knowing that such dedicated staff are taking care of their guests. Thank you, Francisco – you are simply the best!

This is probably one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and the most friendlies of staff. The rooms are well presented. Lovely modernised bathrooms with a waterfall shower and additional shower head with body wash supplied. Kitchen as expected with dishwasher soap, scourer and t-towel supplied. Well supplied cutlery etc. Sofa beds were excellent with full size single mattresses We were at the back on the hotel so inland facing on the main road which can get noisy but cant really notice it with the doors closed. The balcony was a fair size but we could not use early evening as was too hot. The table was metal which got really hot...could have fried eggs. Aircon was free and worked well in the living room but not in the bedroom. We closed the bathroom door and left the bedroom door open. The gardens and the pool areas are well maintained and the lounders are the best I have come across though metal frame can get hot. The loungers are very close together. Pool area does not open until 9 which I was disappointed with as I am an early riser and like to sit by the pool earlier. There is not rush for towels which was nice and if you leave your towels for longer than an hour, they will be removed. Pool bar is well stocked and really tasty and reasonably priced. Beach is a 30second walk from the hotel with access via a gate behind the bar. the beach is stunning and the water shallow. The toilets in the hotel are spotless. Water provided at reception. Across the road is a large supermarket and French bakery...........you must get Croissants at 8 am when just out the oven... We loved the hotel but no so much the surrounding area. Disappointed no promenade/walkway along the beautiful beach, yes you could walk on the sand but not everyone likes the sand and the main road is not very pretty. Great bus service every 15 mins between resorts

We booked this hotel knowing it was in one of the quieter areas of Alcudia and this was everything that we wanted on this on Holiday. The hotel is a little dated in parts and the biggest issue has to the air con which was practically no existent in the rooms however it does appear the hotel is being renovated so it can only improve. We stayed self catering in a one bedroom apartment and this was delightfully spacious with a side view of the pool and evening entertainment area with a sea view in the distance. We ate in the hotel most nights eating simple meals with a glass Wine/Beer from the nearby supermarket. The kitchens have all the basic's that you need. We did use the pool bar for lunch and enjoyed a couple of cocktails in the bar in the evening all reasonably priced and the service was perfect in both place. There are two pools at the hotel and you are just a 2 minute walk to the beach. We had no problem getting a sunbed at any time of the day however there were still people that put there towels down and then went back to their rooms or off to the beach and I imagine in the height of the season that could be a problem. This is something I feel really strongly that all hotels need to get on top of everyone has paid for their holiday to enjoy it in whichever way they choose the sunbeds should not be just for those selfish people that insist on reserving them from 8am. Staff at the hotel were absolutely delightful polite, friendly and helpful there was no problem at all with leaving our bags early and heading to the pool whilst waiting on our room to be ready. The entertainment team work tirelessly all through the day always encouraging of the children and adults to get involved in the daily program.

Just home from a week's family holiday with 2 10 year olds at the ivory playa, and already cant wait to come back! An amazing hotel! Super clean, beds very comfortable & rooms had everything we needed. Every hotel member of staff we came across were super friendly & helpful! Pools are great ,clean & plenty space. The entertainment team were honestly fantastic! from the daytime entertainment which my kids loved, especially the aqua polo which im not sure who was more competitive the adults or the kids was brilliant entertainment to watch each day! To the evening entertainment they worked super hard and my kids loved joining in all the entertainment had to offer! The external evening acts were also very good. Their is little shop attached to hotel that sells bits n peices. A big super market across the road & an amazing little French coffee shop also across the road next to supermarket which I highly recommend, fresh pastries, breads and lovely fresh coffee! They also do takeaway. If I had to give any criticism and im really nit picking here is the pool doesn't open until 10am and kids were itching to get in around 9/9.30am some mornings & their was only 1 person serving at the pool bar which at times their was a bit of a wait to get served. But that is literally the only negative thing i can't find to comment on. Was roughly €8 in a taxi down to the main marina area . The buses are pretty frequent and stop just a minute walk from hotel and cost about €3 each to marina area. Lots of restaurants /cafes round about & the beach is just round the corner from the hotel . Can't recommend this hotel enough exceeded our expectations and we had a fantastic holiday!

We stayed for a week in mid April. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was fine for our requirements and as we self catered the kitchen was adequate for preparing breakfast and the occasional meal. The hotel is well located near to a very reasonable and large well stocked super market and a French cafe that is excellent. The food prices in the supermarket were surprisingly good compared to the UK. We hired a car from the adjacent ClinkRent which was great. I was a bit sceptical as the prices were so low compared to other offerings but I needn’t have been. The adjacent petrol station made filling up on the return easy. There’s a great cycle hire centre across the road. The only negative is that the gym is very small and needs an overhaul. The three indoor bikes were suitable for scrap which is a shame. Appreciate it’s in one of the best areas for outdoor cycling in world but for a sport orientated hotel I would have hoped for better. I would return to Ivory Playa and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you!

I spent 5 days here with my two boys and what a lovely stay we had. The value for money is excellent. We had great service throughout our stay. The hotel, rooms and communal areas are spotlessly clean. The pools are lovely and the hotel is literally on the beach. We ate at the pool bar most days, the food was lovely and again excellent value for money and great service. We were blessed with perfect sunshine which just topped off a wonderful few days. Thank you Hotel Ivory Playa, we will be returning.
